CAP Strategic Plans contribute to climate action, the protection of natural resources, the preservation and enhancement of biodiversity, as well as strengthen the socio-economic fabric of rural areas.

The European Commission’s latest assessment confirms the important role of these national plans to support EU agriculture in the transition to a sustainable farming system, as well as farmers’ income and food security.
